Playbill On-Line welcomes Terri Paddock, our new London Correspondent. She will be keeping Playbill On-Line readers up to date on the latest theatre news from the United Kingdom.

Terri has been editor of London's Performing Arts website What's On Stage since June 1997. She's worked in journalism and public relations for six years and harboured a love for the theatre for much longer than that.

A keen theatre-goer, she has manned the box-office and concession stands at fringe venues in London and her native Washington D.C.

In addition to writing for What's On Stage and Playbill On-Line, Terri writes regularly on a variety of subjects for several UK national newspapers and consumer magazines.

Founded in August 1996 with a concentration in theatre listings, What's On Stage (http://www.whatsonstage.com) has grown to become one of the most visited U.K. performing arts and culture sites on the World Wide Web. What's On Stage is the only site in the U.K. to contain extensive performing arts listings information across the entire country. At any one time, users can search on more than 2,000 performances - including theatre, opera, classical music, ballet, dance, comedy and pantomime -- around the country.

In conjunction with its unrivalled listings, What's On Stage provides high-quality editorial content with a regular UK performing arts news service; authoritative, independent reviews of the latest London productions; and other theatre-related editorial features. The site also offers a number of services including online ticketing, a book shop, a music and video shop, seating plans and a broad-range of arts and travel-related links.

What's On Stage has won a number of prestigious Web awards for its content and design including Microsoft's Best of the Web, Europe Online's Best of Europe Award and Virgin Net's Top Ten Site award to name just a few.

What's On Stage is produced by EMAP Online, which is part of the EMAP plc media group.

EMAP Online's other award-winning Web sites include: A2bTravel.com, The Internet Directory UK, Aloud.com Music Tickets Online, The Internet Directory UK, Bargainholidays.com, The Internet Directory UK, What's New on the Internet, The Internet Directory UK, The Internet Chart Show, The Internet Marketing Hot List, and more.
