The show is conceived by Christopher Marchant and Mark Cortale, and co-written and directed by Broadway's Donna Drake, original cast member of A Chorus Line. Her other Broadway credits include Sophisticated Ladies, Woman of the Year and The Wind in the Willows. The group comprises first violinist Edmund Bagnell, second violinist Christopher Marchant, cellist Daniel Shevlin and violist Trevor Wadleigh. 
Bagnell played Tobias in the first US national tour of John Doyle's production of Sweeney Todd. Marchant has also played Tobias in a national tour of Sweeney Todd and appeared in Naked Boys Singing in Provincetown. Shevlin appeared off-Broadway in The Sandbox, written and directed by Edward Albee, and has toured the US and Asia in productions of Rent and Cabaret. Wadleigh is a member of The String Collective of New York and has performed at Carnegie Hall. 



The arranger is David Levinson, and co-writer and producer is Mark Cortale (who is also bringing Pati LuPone and Seth Rudetsky to the Leicester Square Theatre this summer). It is presented in association with Martin Witts for London International Arts Theatres Limited.
