News Westport Reading of The Breadwinner to Feature Gregg Edelman and Maria Tucci Tony Award nominees Gregg Edelman and Maria Tucci will lead the Westport Country Playhouse's Script in Hand reading of W. Somerset Maugham's The Breadwinner.

Anne Keefe directs the one-night-only reading at 7 PM on June 25.

Edelman (City of Angels, Wonderful Town) will play Charles Battle, with Tucci (The Rose Tattoo, Mary Stuart) as Dorothy Granger. Also featured will be Ryan Garbayo, Betty Gilpin, Patricia Kalember, Emily Kunkel and Doug Stender.

According to Westport, "The Bread Winner tells a tale of affluent families in 1930 suburban London. When spoiled children find their parents boring and entitled wives take their spouses for granted, what are hassled and overworked husbands to do? These self-absorbed lives are shaken to the core when one husband makes a shocking decision in this timely, comic satire about wealth and privilege."

Tickets for the Script in Hand series are $15. For tickets, visit WestportPlayhouse.
