In A Chorus Line the director Zach asks the question "What do you do when you can't dance anymore?" For one of the original cast members of that show, the answer is: "Play Howard Stern's mother."
Kelly Bishop, who originated the role of Sheila, the smoldering sexpot with "attitude," plays Ray Stern, mother of radio's most prominent "shock jock," in his forthcoming film, Private Parts.
Bishop can be seen briefly on the nationally-broadcast commercial being introduced as one of the "Parents of Satan."
The truth is, Bishop has had a considerable post-Chorus Line acting career in film and on stage, perhaps most notably in Six Degrees of Separation.
