News Wicked's Chenoweth to Promote New CD on Several TV Chat Shows; Tower Records Signing, Too Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth will celebrate the upcoming release of her second solo recording by visiting several television chat and morning shows.

"As I Am," Chenoweth's new recording, is set to hit stores April 5 on the Sony Classical label. To promote the new disc, the much-in-demand singer-actress will make appearances on NBC's "The Today Show" (March 30), CBS' "The Early Show" (April 5), NBC's "Live at Five" (April 5), ABC's "The Tony Danza Show" (April 11) and NBC's "Last Call with Carson Daly" (April 12). An in-store signing at the Lincoln Center Tower Records is also scheduled for 6 PM on the day of the CD's release, April 5.

Produced by Chris Harris, "As I Am" features such songs as "It Will Be Me," "The Song Remembers When," "There Will Never Be Another," "Upon This Rock," "When You Abide in Me," "Poor Wayfaring Stranger," "Just As I Am," "Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee," "Because He Lives," "Word of God Speak" and Warren's new ballad, "Borrowed Angels." A bonus track of Marcy Heisler's and Zina Goldrich's "Taylor the Latte Boy" is also included.

Kristin Chenoweth, who received a Tony nomination for her work as Glinda in Stephen Schwartz's Wicked, made her New York theatrical debut opposite Bill Irwin in a production of Molière's Scapin and followed that with a role in Kander and Ebb's Steel Pier. Roles in Off-Broadway's A New Brain, the Broadway comedy Epic Proportions and the City Center Encores! productions of Strike Up the Band and On a Clear Day You Can See Forever ensued. Chenoweth won her Tony for her performance as Sally Brown in the Broadway bow of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
