News Wicked's New Elphaba Returns to Joe's Pub in April Ana Gasteyer, who recently landed the role of Elphaba in the upcoming open-ended Chicago run of Wicked, returns to Joe's Pub April 24.

Gasteyer will perform her one-woman show, Let it Rip! An Evening of Songs, at 9:30 PM. Directed by Jason Eagan with musical direction by Mitch Kaplan, the concerts will feature an evening of favorite songs and observations.

Best known for her work on "Saturday Night Live," Gasteyer has appeared on Broadway in The Rocky Horror Show and Off Broadway in The Vagina Monologues and Kimberly Akimbo. She also played Fanny Brice in the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera's production of Funny Girl and was recently seen in the New York City Opera mounting of Cinderella. Her screen credits include "Mean Girls," "What Women Want," "Woman on Top," "Dick" and "What's the Worst That Could Happen?" Gasteyer can also be seen in the new Showtime film musical "Reefer Madness."
