News Wicked's Schwartz, Drood's Holmes and More to Be Part of Free June 13 Panel Discussion The Best of Broadway and Beyond, The Young and the Musical Part 11: A Novel Idea for a Show is the lengthy title of a June 13 event to be held at the Acorn Theatre on West 42nd Street.

Presented by the Dramatists Guild of America, Inc. and the League of Professional Theatre Women, the 4:30 PM afternoon will feature a panel discussion with Jane Eyre producer Pam Koslow and composer Paul Gordon, Edwin Drood composer Rupert Holmes, Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz and Silas' Michael Korie, Bruce Coughlin and Anthony Stein. Silas is a new musical in development based on the novel "Silas Marner." The panel discussion will be followed by musical selections from each production. Producer Meridee Stein will host the afternoon.

The Acorn Theatre is located in Manhattan at 410 West 42nd Street. Although the event is free and open to the public, reservations are required by calling (212) 398-9366, ext. 11.
