Following William Leach's memorable turn in Shylock and Kim Hunter's special appearance in Alan Brody's Greytop In Love, the next show at Philadelphia's Walnut Street Studio Theatre, Apr. 21-May 3, will be The Gift, a world premiere written & directed by Walnut veteran Will Stutts. The Gift tells of a famous novelist giving a childhood friend a leg up in the literary world: by writing a book and allowing her to put her name on it. Starring in the show are E. Ashley Izard (Nelle) and Warren Kelley (Buddy). Designing The Gift are Cindy Felice & Conrad Maust (set), Colleen McMillan (costumes) and Scott Smith (sound).

Ending the Studio "season of premieres," May 19-31, will be By George, a world premiere by Frank Ferrante, playing playwright George S. Kaufman.
