News William Finn Narrates Talented Composers, Featuring Godspell's Celisse Henderson, Sept. 2-3 Barrington Stage Company’s Musical Theatre Lab presents the sixth edition of Songs by Ridiculously Talented Composers and Lyricists You Probably Don’t Know But Should… Sept. 2-3 at the Barrington Stage in Pittsfield, MA.

Tony Award-winning composer-lyricist William Finn (Falsettos, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) narrates the 8 PM shows, which introduce the new voices of musical theatre. In Songs by Ridiculously Talented Composers and Lyricists, Finn shares with the audience what makes a good lyric and why some work and others don’t.

Directed by Shakina Nayfack, Songs by Ridiculously Talented Composers and Lyricists features Celisse Henderson (Broadway's upcoming Godspell), Anne Nathan (Sunday in the Park with George, Assassins), Taylor Trensch, Taylor Anderson, Michael Hewitt, Hannah Richter and Michael Wessells.

Composers and lyricists represented throughout the evening include Will Aronson, Carmel Dean, Jeremy Desmon, Jessica DiGiacinto, Vadim Feichtner, Josh Freilich, Sarah Hirsch, Joe Iconis, Creighton Irons, Alana Jacoby, Karl Michael Johnson, Laura Kleinbaum, Dimitri Landrain, Gihieh Lee, Salomon Lerner, Brandon Michael Lowden, Bill Nelson, Micah Norvedt, Eric Price, Sam Salmond, Rachel Sheinkin, Jahn Sood, Jennifer Stafford, Katya Stanislavskaya, Liz Suggs, Frank Terry, Nikos Tsakalakos, Sarah Underwood and Joel Waggoner.

Other members of the creative team include musical director Zachary Dietz, lighting designer Mark Krasnov, sound designer Ryan Peavey and production stage manager Ryan Gohsman. Natasha Sinha is associate producer.
