News Yale Rep to Stage These Paper Bullets, With Songs By Billie Joe Armstrong, in 2014; Season Revealed Green Day front-man Billie Joe Armstrong will write original music for Rolin Jones' new contemporary adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing, titled These Paper Bullets, which will debut at Yale Repertory Theatre next season, according to the New York Times.

Jackson Gay will direct the piece about a Liverpool rock band finding its way in the London music scene. Armstrong's last theatrical foray was the Tony-nominated musical American Idiot. These Paper Bullets will premiere in March 2014. Yale Rep is expected to announce full details on the project March 15.

Yale Rep is also planning to stage Marcus Gardley's The House That Will Not Stand, a reimagining of Lorca's The House of Bernarda Alba. Patricia McGregor, who will stage the April 2014 Yale Rep production, will also helm the world premiere of Gardley's play at the Berkeley Repertory Theater in January 2014.

Also planned are Dario Fo's Accidental Death of an Anarchist; Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire; Caryl Churchill's Owners; and the new Meg Miroshnik play The Fairytale Lives of Russian Girls.
