Others showered with nominations: the revival of Les Liaisons Dangereuses earned nine nominations, while the revival of South Pacific was nominated for eight prizes.

Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba and stage and screen star Sandy Duncan announced nominees in 23 categories.

Glory Days was the only Broadway production the nominating committee was unable to attend prior to the nominations cut-off date. The new musical will therefore be considered for next year's awards.

The Outer Critics Circle Awards are decided upon by a group of writers "covering New York theatre for out-of town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway."

Winners of the 2007-2008 Outer Critics Circle Awards will be announced the morning of May 12. Winners will be celebrated with an awards dinner May 22 at Sardi's Restaurant.
