PUNK GOES BROADWAY! is taking the punk songs you know and love, and arranging them into a showtune/jazzy spirit. Examples include “The Only Exception by Paramore” as jazz/big band, “Thnks Fr Th Mmrs by Fall Out Boy” as a contemporary villainous ballad, and many more! This is a collaborative project, so while we have many concepts we would love executed, we are also interested in your artistic input.

You MUST be available for 2 rehearsals and the performance date.

Rehearsal Dates: TBD based on group availability.

Performance Date: Wednesday, August 14th @ 9:30pm.

Stipend: $50 (+ equal % of ticket sales. Producers are taking 0% of the proceeds, everything goes back to performers and accompanist)!

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: Please submit your headshot & resume, as well as 16-32 bars of your favorite classical showtune, contemporary showtune, or jazz standard. In addition, please write a description on your personal connection to pop punk music/culture, including some of your favorite music artists or songs.
