DESCRIPTION

Barefoot Shakespeare Company is seeking a production apprentice that will act as an assistant stage manager for our upcoming production of Winter’s Tale, directed by Emily Gallagher. Performances will take place the first two weekends in June at beautiful Summit Rock in Central Park.

Responsibilities for this individual includes: transporting props to and from the performance space, assisting the stage manager during rehearsals, and ensuring the smooth execution of performances. Ideal candidates have experience in outdoor theater and are able to collaborate with an ensemble.

Rehearsals are currently in process so we are looking for someone to jump in ASAP. We are currently rehearsing Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturdays during the day. So ideally the candidate we choose would be available on these days. More information and other important dates to know can be found below! Please check these and make sure these dates below work with your schedule. The dates below are non-negotiable at this point.

This position will pay a $200 stipend with a potential bonus at the end of the production if all donation needs are met!
