1st Performance - January 30, 2025
Closes - February 23, 2025

Casting Note: Most of the characters publicly identify/-ied as women and are referred to in the play using she/her pronouns. The ideal ensemble will be performers who are comfortable playing female-identifying roles in this playworld (including non-binary, gender-queer, gender non-conforming, and trans folx). The Mercury 13 were all white. The Top Girls (except for Ride & Cochran) were not. The Future Folx (except Sal & Jackie) are not. It’s essential that the playworld be in the intersectional hands of a racially & ethnically diverse ensemble (preferably one containing queer representation). The storytelling in the play has an extensive movement vocabulary. Actors must be comfortable and capable of sustained movement.
