DESCRIPTION

Foresight Theatrical is hiring for a full-time Investor Relations Associate position. The Investor Relations team is responsible for handling capitalizations for all shows managed by Foresight, managing the NYC Musical and Theatrical Tax Credit program applications, and providing support to a range of other financial activities within the office. This position will provide exposure to various and complex aspects of fundraising and running a commercial theatrical production while being a part of a busy general management office.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Handling the day-to-day of investments, including watermarking, sending, receiving, and reviewing investment documents, and communicating with investors regarding the investment process
  • Assisting in communicating and liaising with producers and general managers about the status of capitalizations.
  • Assisting in compilation of reports to submit to NYS ESD for the tax credit program
  • Data entry of both investor information and show financials for NYS applications
  • Coordinating and collating information with various departments (including GM, CM, attorneys, accountants, press, and advertising)
  • Maintaining current and accurate investor information across dozens of shows

Required qualifications:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and balancing multiple projects at once.
  • Flexibility to shift quickly between various tasks as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to work well both in a team and independently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Broadway industry.
  • Knowledge of commercial theater investments
  • Knowledge of accounting.
  • Customer service experience.
