● Serving as the Music Director for the MSMT Singers (pre-professional performers)

○ Teaching the MSMT Singers A Capella material

○ Serving as accompanist for all run-out performances

● Music Direct TYA Productions: BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and THE NUTCRACKER

● Music Direct MSMT “Concert on The Mall” at the end of the season; featuring cast members and a 6-piece band.

○ Compile, gather, or create charts.

● Serving as main stage Show #2 (FUNNY GIRL) rehearsal assistant

○ Assist MD with day-to-day tasks
○ Accompany rehearsals when requested and assist in teaching of music when requested
○ Keyboard Programming (apple Mainstage)
○ Assist with orchestra reduction work (Finale notation software)

● Serving as Associate Music Director for main stage shows #3 and #4 (WHITE CHRISTMAS and BEAUTIFUL)

○ Assist MD with day-to-day tasks
○ Accompany rehearsals when requested and assist in teaching of music when requested

○ Keyboard Programming (apple Mainstage)
○ Assist with orchestra reduction work (Finale notation software)
○ Play Keyboard II in the orchestra for these productions and cover the K1/Conductor chair.
● Play for special events/cabarets as needed and as determined by management.

Successful candidate will have superior knowledge of:
● The musical theater cannon and repertoire
● Accompany for musical theater with a strong ability to play varying styles and groove.
● Keyboard Programming - Apple Mainstage
● Computer notation/copyist skills (Finale) - knowledge of orchestrating and arranging a plus!
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a hard working team while being self-directed and highly motivated.
