PREPARATION
Please prepare either two contrasting 90-second contemporary monologues or one contemporary monologue and 32-bars of music from a song of your choosing. An accompanist will be provided for vocalists, but individuals must bring sheet music (if in-person). You may also sing with a backing track if you prefer. Also, please bring you headshot and resume stapled together. If you are unable to attend, you may submit a video audition of the same material.

SYNOPSIS: Ernestine Ashworth spends her 17th birthday agonizing over her insignificance in the universe. Soon enough, it’s her 18th birthday. Even sooner, her 41st. Her 70th. Her 101st. Five generations, an infinity of dreams, and one cake baked over a century.

SEEKING:
ERNESTINE ASHWORTH – Travels from age seventeen to 107. In that time she will be a daughter, a girlfriend, a wife, a mother, a friend, an aunt, a mother-in-law, a widow, a second wife, a grandmother, a great grandmother, and a great great grandmother.

ALICE – Selfless. Strong. Ernestine’s mother; Doubles as MADELINE and ERNIE

KENNETH – Ernestine’s awkward and annoying next-door neighbor.

MATT – Chiseled jawline. A middle linebacker on the high school football team. Ernestine’s boyfriend then husband; Doubles as WILLIAM

SYNOPSIS: Ebeneezer Scrooge lives a solitary, miserly life collecting debts and shunning his fellow men. One cold Christmas Eve, he is visited by four remarkable spirits who reveal his past, present, and future in the hopes of reigniting some love for his fellow man. With music, dance and theatrical spectacle, this holiday treat will delight the entire family and warm the heart of us all.

Three distinctly different clients travel to post-Soviet Russia, looking to obtain three distinctly different things: an oil-rich plot of land, an old White Russian Estate, and a baby from an orphanage. Svetlana, a witch-for-hire, is ready to help meet each of their needs. But when it turns out that the land, the estate, and the orphanage are all the same place, and everyone descends upon it simultaneously, Svetlana's talents are put to the test. Chaos and hilarity ensue.

SYNOPSIS: In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.”

JANET: Female presenting, 26-35 (Range: Mezzo Soprano Belt, A3-Eb5) Good girl who is madly in love with Brad. Starts out as very innocent and becomes less so.

NARRATOR: Male presenting, Age Flexible (Non-Singing Role) Follows our two heroes through the story by narrating directly to the audience.

RIFF RAFF: Male presenting, 25-40 (Range: High Rock Tenor, D3-B4) Appears to be a butler, Brother to Magenta, Crazy high rock belt. One of Frank’s conspirators.

COLUMBIA: Female presenting, Age Flexible (Range: Mezzo Soprano Belt, E4-E5) Tap dancing and zany - former lover of Eddie. One of Frank’s conspirators.

FRANK 'N' FURTER: Male presenting, 30-45 (Range: Baritone, D3-G4) Mad scientist - fearlessly gender fluid in dress and actively embracing open sexuality.

ROCKY: Male presenting 18-30 (Range: Tenor, A3-G4) Frank’s magnificent creation. Naive and new to the world. Traditionally costumed in a speedo.

EDDIE/DR. SCOTT: Male presenting, 28-40 (Range: Baritone, E3-F#4) Eddie, delivery man, “went to pieces.” Misses the rock and roll of life. Comes back to life only to die after his solo. Was in a relationship with Columbia. Dr Scott is Eddie’s Uncle.

2 PHANTOMS/TRANSYLVANIANS: (SATB) Conspirators with Frank - support/chorus/storytellers.
