DESCRIPTION

Florida Rep is in search of interns for our 2024-2025 season.

Costume Intern:

Build, maintain, repair, and strike all costumes, wigs and accessories for any production.

Handle the wardrobe duties for any production that you are assigned.

Electrics Intern:

Assist with the installation, hang, focus, maintenance, and strike of lighting and sound equipment for all productions.

Work as a Sound and/or Light Board Operator for any production that you are assigned.

Paints Intern:

Assist with painting of scenic elements for all productions.

Work as backstage crew for any production that you are assigned.

Stage Management Intern:

Pre-Production, Setup and assisting with the running of rehearsals for any production that you are assigned.

Working either backstage or as an operator for performances for any production that you are assigned.

Maintaining stage management paperwork and rehearsal items as necessary.

Production Swing Intern:

Working either backstage or as an operator for performances for any production that you are assigned.

Assisting Technical Director with execution of daily tasks.

Assisting in production departments as assigned by Technical Director or Production Management.

+INTERNs will be on site an average of 40 hours per week and are eligible, but not guaranteed, overtime.
+THEATRE will also arrange furnished housing in an apartment with bedroom and shared common areas for INTERN during that training period. Housing deduction to occur bi-weekly.

DURATION

Aug 12, 2024 - May 31, 2025

SALARY

$15.00 – $15.00 per hour
