MAX HALLIDAY: He/Him. 30s - 40s. American. Mystery writer and ex-lover of Margot. Quick witted, charming, excellent with language and banter. Deeply committed to saving Margot’s life.

TONY WENDICE: He/Him. 30s - 40s. English. Charming, seductive, cunning. A darkness lies in him, jealous and ruthless as he plans to kill his wife over her affair with Max and keep her money. Meticulous, exacting, and sometimes desperate.

CAPTAIN LESGATE: He/Him. 30s - 40s. English. Blue collar. A criminal. He’s conning women out of their money and resources all over town, living under a different alias each time. Possibly a brute. He’s definitely gruff under his cool demeanor. Physically agile. Stage combat needed.

INSPECTOR HUBBARD: He/Him. 40s - 50s. English. Chief Inspector, quick mind. Excellent with language.

THOMPSON: He/Him. 20s. English. A young policeman. Naïve, alert.
