Former Rent star Frenchie Davis, who was a semi-finalist on the NBC singing reality program "The Voice," will be part of the hit show's upcoming concert tour.

The singing competition's eight finalists, who include Davis as well as Beverly McClellan, Vicci Martinez, Dia Frampton, winner Javier Colon, Nakia, Xenia and Casey Weston, will be seen in a concert tour prior to the launch of the second season of "The Voice."

Tour dates follow:

July 27 Los Angeles, CA, at the Gibson Amphitheatre
July 30 Las Vegas, NV, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena
Aug. 2 Chicago, IL, at the Rosemont Theatre
Aug. 4 Boston, MA, at the Bank of America Pavilion
Aug. 5 Wallingford, CT, at the Toyota Presents Oakdale Theatre
Aug. 6 New York, NY, at the Beacon Theatre

"Voice" coaches/judges Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, however, will not be part of the Live Nation tour.  It was recently announced that all four musicians will return for the second season of "The Voice."

A finalist on the second season of "Idol," Davis has starred on Broadway in Rent and in tours of Dreamgirls; Sing, Mahalia, Sing; and Ain't Misbehavin'. She also played the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella at Berkeley Playhouse.
