The production, which is directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, who also choreographed the original Broadway production (which was directed by Jack O'Brien), marked the debut of Jerry Mitchell Productions, a new production company he has formed under the auspices of Britain's Ambassador Theatre Group to "develop, create and produce new productions for ATG theatres in London, New York and around the world."
