News "Glee" Star to Release Solo Recording in October Mark Salling, who plays Puck on the hit Fox series "Glee," will release his debut solo recording in October.

Entitled "Pipe Dreams," the new recording will be released on the Pipe Dreams Records label Oct. 12, according to UsMagazine.com.

Salling's CD will feature tunes written and performed by the young singing actor. Expect "classic rock 'n' roll, alternative music and a '60s folk-beat era sound," according to Us Magazine.

The first single is titled "Lone Ranger."

The second season of "Glee" — co-starring  Broadway favorites Matthew Morrison and Lea Michele  — begins Sept. 21.
