When the curtain comes down, the show officially becomes the longest consecutively-running musical in the history of Denver, at 1,499 performances, surpassing Always...Patsy Cline (1995-99).
Like the now-shuttered Always...Patsy Cline, I Love You... plays the Garner Galleria Theatre in the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.
Performances continue beyond Feb. 7, of course: Shows play 7:30 PM Tuesday-Sunday with matinees at 2 PM Saturday and Sunday. Tickets, ranging from $29-$36, may be purchased at Denver Center Ticket Services, located at 14th & Curtis Streets, and at TicketsWest outlets. To charge by phone, call (303) 893-4100 or (866) 464-2626. Outside Denver, call (800) 641-1222.
Tickets and information are also available online at www.denvercneter.org.
* The resident cast of the Joe DiPietro-Jimmy Roberts revue of life and love, from dating to old-age, includes Scott Foster, Jordan Leigh, Gina Schuh-Turner, Shannan Steele, Klint J. Rudolph and Melinda Wilson.
I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is directed by Ray Roderick (The Music Man on tour, I Love at Piano at the Denver Center).
The Off-Broadway run continues, as do countless international stagings.
