News Marion Cotillard Stars in Joan of Arc at the Stake with NY Philharmonic Tonight Marion Cotillard, the French actress who played Luisa in the film version of the Broadway musical Nine, will play the title role in the dramatic oratorio Joan of Arc at the Stake with the New York Philharmonic June 10-14.

The production is conducted by Alan Gilbert and directed by Côme de Bellescize. Among other ensemble members are Christian Gonon as the narrator, Éric Génovèse, Erin Morley, Simone Osborne, Faith Sherman, Thomas Blondelle and Steven Humes.

The performance represents the U.S. premiere of the production created at the Festival Saito Kinen Matsumoto in August 2012 under the artistic direction of Seiji Ozawa. It is performed in French with English surtitles.

The performance will take place at Avery Fisher Hall in New York's Lincoln Center.
