News THE SCREENING ROOM: Happy Birthday, Donna Murphy and Ruthie Henshall (Video) Tony Award winner Donna Murphy, who originated the role of Fosca in the Stephen Sondheim-James Lapine musical Passion, and Olivier Award winner Ruthie Henshall, who was seen on Broadway in the original cast of the Sondheim revue Putting It Together, celebrate their birthdays March 7. Murphy is a two-time Tony Award winner for Passion and The King and I; she was Tony-nominated for her work in The People in the Picture, Lovemusik and Wonderful Town. Her other Broadway credits include The Mystery of Edwin Drood, The Human Comedy and They're Playing Our Song.
