A symposium examining the work of playwright Arthur Miller gets underway April 17 at the University of Evansville, Indiana. The three-day affair is to include a reading by Miller, panel discussions, paper presentations, and an audience Q&A with the 83-year-old, New York born dramatist.Miller wrote Death of a Salesman, The Price, All My Sons and Broken Glass, among many others. A revival of Miller's A View From the Bridge is a current hit on Broadway. His new play, Mr. Peter's Connections, begins Off-Broadway previews April 28.
The Indiana weekend will also include a production of Miller's The Crucible by the University of Evansville Department of Theatre. The symposium will conclude on April 19.
