Ana Villafañe, who created the role of Gloria, continued in that part through the final performance. Villafañe, a Cuban-American singer, dancer, and actor from Miami, was chosen through an open audition process and made her Broadway debut in the show. The final cast also included Ektor Rivera as Emilio, Doreen Montalvo as Gloria Fajardo, Alma Cuervo as Consuelo, and Eliseo Román as Jose Fajardo.

It was previously announced that On Your Feet! will launch a 31-city first national tour this fall. The tour will celebrate its official opening in the Estefans’ home city of Miami, Florida, playing the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts October 5–15 before continuing on to Orlando, Houston, Dallas, Baltimore, and San Diego, among many other stops. The tour will first play a preview engagement in Buffalo, New York, beginning September 22.
