News Megan Hilty, Stephanie J. Block, Marc Shaiman, Wesley Taylor to Perform at "It Could Be Worse" Launch Concert The showbiz-minded, scripted comedy series "It Could Be Worse," co-created and written by longtime actor-collaborators Mitchell Jarvis (Rock of Ages) and Wesley Taylor ( "Smash," The Addams Family), will return for its second season beginning in July on Hulu. A host of theatre stars will perform July 15 at 54 Below to celebrate the premiere.

Brennan Brown ("Persons of Interest," "Breaking Bad") will host the 9:30 PM concert that will feature Jarvis and Taylor, as well as Megan Hilty ("Smash," Wicked), Adam Chanler-Berat (Peter and the Starcatcher, Next to Normal), Stephanie J. Block (Wicked, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Anything Goes), Marc Shaiman (Catch Me If You Can, Hairspray), Jenn Damiano (Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, Next to Normal, Spring Awakening), Bryce Ryness (First Date, Hair), Blake Daniel (Spring Awakening), Lauren Molina (Rock of Ages, Sweeney Todd) and Rob Morrison.

The evening will feature clips from season two as well as performances from guest stars. 

"It Could Be Worse" will be available on the free, ad-supported Hulu and Hulu Plus subscription service beginning July 17. New episodes will premiere weekly on Thursdays through Aug. 7.

Playbill.com premiered the first season of "It Could Be Worse," and over $60,000 was subsequently raised by fans of the series, via Kickstarter, for a second season.

The upcoming season will include Meghan Hilty, Taylor, Jarvis, Adam Chanler-Berat, Gideon Glick, Alison Fraser, with recurring cast members Nancy Opel, Roger Rees, Stephanie J. Block, Paris Remillard, Sebastian Arcelus, and guest stars like Audra McDonald, Megan Hilty, Katharine McPhee, Laura Benanti, Brian D’arcy James, Jeremy Jordan and Debra Messing.
