Attending the April 24 opening night party for Taller Than a Dwarf are director Michael Mayer, star of A Moon for the Misbegotten Cherry Jones, playwright Anne Meara and actor Jerry Stiller. Dwarf has been rather obliquely described as the story of "an average couple during the millennium learning the new rules of the American dream," that couple being independent movie star Parker Posey in her Broadway debut and Matthew Broderick. The Elaine May comedy, directed by Alan Arkin, runs at the Longacre Theatre.
