News Seldes, Bergen and Other Legends Featured on Drama Desk Panel, April 19 "What Becomes a Legend Most?," the April 19 luncheon and panel hosted by The Drama Desk organization, will feature an array of—what else?—legendary stage actresses. Among the stars scheduled to appear are several Follies actresses, including Polly Bergen, Marge Champion, Betty Garrett, Joan Roberts, Jane White, and Carol Woods, as well as Marian Seldes of Edward Albee's The Play About the Baby and Kathleen Freeman of The Full Monty.

"What Becomes a Legend Most?," the April 19 luncheon and panel hosted by The Drama Desk organization, will feature an array of—what else?—legendary stage actresses. Among the stars scheduled to appear are several Follies actresses, including Polly Bergen, Marge Champion, Betty Garrett, Joan Roberts, Jane White, and Carol Woods, as well as Marian Seldes of Edward Albee's The Play About the Baby and Kathleen Freeman of The Full Monty. Alexis Greene, a longtime theatre critic and author of a forthcoming biography of Lucille Lortel, and Robert Sandla, executive editor and vice president of Stagebill, will moderate the panel.

The event will take place on Thursday, April 19, in the Penthouse Lobby of the Roundabout Theatre Company's American Airlines Theatre at 227 West 42nd Street. Enter at 227 West 42nd Street and take the elevator to the Penthouse Lobby. Lunch begins at noon, the panel at 12:30 PM. Tickets are $10 for Drama Desk members, $15 for non-members.
