News Stacy Sullivan Will Honor Late Marian McPartland With Limited Engagement at the York The York Theatre Company will presents a special event On the Air: Songs for Marian McPartland - a musical tribute honoring the legendary radio host - starring vocalist and radio personality Stacy Sullivan to begin performances tonight, Sept. 26.

The special event will run for four performances only through Sept. 28, 2014 at The York Theatre Company’s home at Saint Peters (E. 54th Street and Lexington Avenue).

Jon Weber will serve as pianist.

Here's how the event is billed: "When Marian McPartland died on August 31, 2013 at the age of 95, she left a bereaved public a legacy of untold musical wealth. Who best to communicate Marian McPartland’s astounding legacy than Stacy Sullivan, award-winning international vocalist and radio personality, and piano wizard Jon Weber, who succeeded Marian as Piano Jazz host. These combined talents do Marian proud with a polished review of the Grande Dame’s life and music, interwoven with favorites from the American Songbook."

The performance schedule follows:

Sept. 26 at 8 PM
Sept. 27 at 2:30 PM and 8 PM
Sept. 28 at 2:30 PM Tickets range from $35-49.
