Description
We are seeking a skilled Production Manager/Producer to facilitate the process of hiring personnel, casting, rehearsing, and coordinating payment for a public reading of the first 25 minutes of "Esperanza Rising: The Musical" at the ASCAP Musical Theatre Librettist Workshop in Los Angeles, CA. This includes approximately five songs from the musical.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate hiring of personnel including cast, crew, and any additional necessary roles.
- Oversee the casting process, ensuring roles are appropriately filled.
- Manage rehearsal schedules and logistics, including securing rehearsal space.
- Coordinate payment and ensure timely compensation for all involved parties.
- Liaise with ASCAP and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth production execution.
- Provide support to the creative team as needed.

Dates and Locations
- 3-4 days of rehearsals the week of May 13 in Sherman Oaks, CA 91401
- Same-day tech and presentation on May 18, 19, 20, or 21 (To be confirmed by ASCAP)
