DESCRIPTION

Want to get into your body and create performance with others?
Take a workshop with Write Foot.

Through mask, play, and movement analysis we will devise original characters, text, and worlds as an ensemble. Crack open your creativity by allowing your body to iterate quickly without judgement.
Utilizing hand carved wooden half-masks this workshop is geared towards theater artists, writers, comedians, or any one looking to invigorate their performance practice with full bodied play.

These workshops will be led by Ryan Pater. Ryan is a devisor and educator focused on developing artists tools for creating original performance and iterating with confidence. He is a current teaching fellow at the Juilliard Drama Division and former teaching fellow at Lincoln Center Education. He is a graduate of NCSA School of Drama and the Pig Iron School for Devised Performance MFA.
