The Open House, which offers a subversive and darkly hilarious take on the archetypal family drama, will star Teresa Banham as Mother, Greg Hicks as Father, Lindsey Campbell as Daughter, Crispin Letts as Uncle, and Ralph Davis as Son.
In Eno's play, “Son and Daughter have come home to celebrate their Mother and Father’s wedding anniversary, but the atmosphere is strained and the dog is nowhere to be seen. Just as they hit stalemate things start to take a very unexpected turn.”
Banham’s extensive theatre credits include A Chorus of Disapproval (West End), Heresy of Love (RSC), Measure for Measure (RSC), The Father (Chichester Festival), and Snake in the Grass (Old Vic).
Hicks recently starred in the title role in Richard III at the Arcola Theatre. His other stage credits include The Tempest, All’s Well That Ends Well, Hamlet, The Winter’s Tale, and Julius Caesar, all for the RSC.
Campbell’s previous work for Ustinov Studio includes Right Now, The Harvest, and The Big Meal. Recent screen credits include Silent Witness and Pumped.
Letts’stage credits include The Entertainer (West End), The Servant (Lyric Hammersmith), An Inspector Calls (West End), and Othello, Wind in the Willows, and Machine Wreckers, all for the National Theatre.
Davis is a recent RADA graduate. Credits while training include The Winter’s Tale, A Little Night Music, Macbeth, and The Oresteia. He also recently starred in King Lear at Shakespeare’s Globe.
Eno’s Broadway debut play, The Realistic Joneses, was the winner of a Drama Desk Special Award. Other writing credits include The Open House (Off-Broadway), which won the Obie Award for Playwriting, and, most recently, Wakey, Wakey (Off-Broadway).
