International News Winter-Spring Itinerary Announced for Blood Brothers Tour, Starring Carrie’s Linzi Hateley Bill Kenwright’s U.K. tour resumes January 29.

Olivier nominee Linzi Hateley, who created the title role in the cult classic musical Carrie on both sides of the Atlantic, will continue with Bill Kenwright’s U.K. tour of the long-running musical Blood Brothers this winter and spring.

Hateley, also seen on the West End stage in Mamma Mia!, Chicago, Les Miserables, Grease, Mary Poppins, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, will again step into the role of Mrs. Johnstone beginning January 29 at the Malvern Festival Theatre. The tour is currently scheduled through May 18 at the Leeds Grand Theatre.

February 5-9 at the Lyceum Theatre, Sheffield
February 12-16 at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham
February 19-23 at the Wycombe Swan
February 26-March 2 at the Bournemouth Pavilion
March 12-16 at the Forum Theatre, Billingham
March 19-23 at the INEC, Killarney
March 26-30 at the Royal Theatre, Castlebar
April 2-6 at the Princess Theatre, Torquay
April 9-13 at the The Lowry, Salford
April 15-20 at the Venue Cymru, Llandudno
April 23-27 at the Blackpool Opera House
April 30-May 4 at the Kings Theatre, Southsea
May 7-18 at the Leeds Grand Theater

The cast of the Willy Russell musical also includes Sarah Jane Buckley, Sean Jones, Mark Hutchinson, Robbie Scotcher, Danielle Corlass, Tim Churchill, Graham Martin, Amy Jane Ollies, Alison Crawford, Graeme Kinniburgh, Andy Owens, and Josh Capper.

Blood Brothers tells the tragic story of twin boys separated at birth, only to be reunited by a twist of fate and a mother’s haunting secret. The score includes “A Bright New Day,” “Marilyn Monroe,” and “Tell Me It’s Not True.”
