Florida Repertory Theatre is a fully professional theatre company serving all of Southwest Florida and is now entering its 27th season as an ensemble-based, artist-driven organization. Florida Rep operates an active Education & Outreach Department that reaches 45,000 young people annually. With a growing national profile, Florida Rep is one of the most active arts organizations in the area that holds to its mission to "improve the quality of life in our community through all the arts" and strives to continue to "Set the Bar High" as "One of America's Top Repertory Companies" -The Wall Street Journal.

The Executive Director works in equal partnership with the Producing Artistic Director to lead the organization ensuring the company’s success. The Executive Director is responsible for the smooth operation of all business activities of Florida Repertory Theatre. The portfolio of responsibilities includes managing the financial, human resources, liability, contracting, licensing and general business assets, and obligations of the organization.
10+ years of experience in performing arts or non-profit management, ideally having served in leadership positions.
Functioning on a number of campuses, successful candidates will possess property management capabilities, working with vendors and general contractors to maintain theatre properties. With the Producing Artistic Director, the Executive Director leads planning and implementation for new projects designed for best use of all campuses.
Candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills, must multi-task and prioritize key action items for administrative staff.
Preferably, candidates have achieved advanced study in related fields, including, but not limited to, business, finance, performing arts administration, and nonprofit development. Candidates should be comfortable with legal documents working in collaboration with theatre counsel and public officials.

SALARY: $100,000-$120,000 annually. (Commensurate with experience.)
