DESCRIPTION

Lift Off Special Programming is seeking 2 Dancers for a single dance show for a school district contract in Pleasantville, NY. The piece encompasses several styles of dance including Hip-Hop, House, Street Jazz, and traditional West African. Dancers are expected to attend 2 rehearsals leading up to the performance, and the single performance on May 10, 2024.

Seeking very strong dancers with backgrounds in Hip-Hop, traditional West African, and/or Afrobeats. Auditions will be held on a rolling basis in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Dancers invited to audition should prepare a self choreographed piece, no longer than 2 minutes, demonstrating their practice in Hip-Hop, traditional West African, and/ or Afrobeats. Experience performing for children and/ or in children's theater prefered. Performers of all ethnicities, gender identities and ages are encouraged to apply. We are hiring immediatly as we are seeking to fill the positions as soon as possible.

SALARY

$200: including 2 rehearsals and 1 performance. Subject to an additional $100 if extra rehearsals are added.
